Sundie Felton

Sundie (Vecchiarelli) Felton of Denver CO October 2, 1927 - April 20, 2018 Sundie, 90, died April 20, 2018 at Bethany Nursing Home where she resided for the last 8 years, from a long battle with Alzheimer's / Dementia. She was born and raised in Denver. The daughter of Rocco and Rosina Vecchiarelli and one of eight children and the last sibling to pass. Growing up she loved going to Red Rocks, climbing around and hanging out with her girlfriends. She was a loving and wonderful mother. A great Italian cook. When her kids started school, she entered into a career as a school cook where she worked in the kitchen at Clear Lake Jr. High for 23 years. A job she was dedicated to. She loved working and playing in her back yard of her house where she lived for 50 years. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, board games, and going swimming. Always loved staying busy. She is survived by 4 children: Terri Slota (Tom), Tommy Felton, Kathy Williams and Richard Felton. 6 Grand Kids: Melissa Edge (Bret), Chris Williams, Jeramie Williams (Stevey), Jeff Slota (Cassandra), Michael Slota and Chelsea Felton. And 7 Great-Grand Kids. Those who knew and loved her know she is in a better place and with her family. May she rest in peace. Services will held on Sat. April 28, 2018 at 10:30 am, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 3549 Navajo St. Denver CO 80211. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall.
