Sandra Moroney

Sandra Moroney, 79, of Lone Tree passed on November 28, 2014. She was preceded by her husband of 49 years, Jerome Moroney, her sister Barbara Lee Burns and her parents Harley and Evelyn Burns. She is survived by her son Tim, daughter Susan and grandchildren Matt, Tony, Rachael, Joshua and Taylor. Sandra was born July 30, 1935 in Kansas City, Kansas where she graduated from Wyandotte High School. She moved with her family to Ponca City, Oklahoma where she assisted her husband in the running of a NAPA Automotive Parts business. She later had a successful career as a real estate agent. Sandra was an avid golfer and was very involved in the community. After retirement she and Jerry relocated to Colorado. Sandra continued to participate in numerous activities including golf, bridge, canasta, book club, South Metro Newcomers, PEO and Calling All Angels. Sandra enjoyed the theatre, museums, cooking and entertaining. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 13th at 1:00 p.m. at Horan & McConaty, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial, CO 80122.
