Roger Sanchez

Julian (Roger) Sanchez was born on June 21, 1940 in Denver, Colorado and passed away on May 26, 2018. Roger was preceded in death by parents Eustacio and Clorinda (Cora) Sanchez, wife Georgene, son Michael John Sanchez and brother Eustacio “Junior” Sanchez. He survived by his son, Emilio Abeyta, grandchildren Emilio Jr., Jordan, Angelina Abeyta, brother Gilbert (Patricia) Sanchez. Also survived by former daughter-in-law Rena Sanchez-Croker and Rena's children / grandchildren, Gina, Mimi and Elena Garcia, Isaac and Zoe Alvarado, Gino, Gerald and Joie Gurule as well as niece, Maria Sanchez, nephews Xavier, Tomas and Jose Sanchez and friends Rena Abeyta and Michael Ligrose. Throughout his seventy-seven years Roger owned several businesses. In the late sixties, seventies and eighties he was best known for his fireworks business, Roger’s Fireworks and most recently his chili/pinon stands which were located throughout the Denver metro area. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 4688 Pearl Street, Denver, Colorado.
