Born July 8, 1953, Pollyanne Wilson was the daughter of Max and Sheilah Sedbrook, and sister to 5 siblings. She lovingly cared for all of her siblings and faithfully took care of both of her parents in health and in sickness. Kind, caring and compassionate, she was also a devoted and hard worker. An employee of the Postal Service for 35+ years, she was frequently acknowledged for her intelligence and hard work, and she received several awards and commendations throughout the years. She was a truly dedicated and skilled employee, but her true passions lied outside of the workplace. Polly loved gardening, renovating, decorating, shopping, swimming, and occasionally traveling. But above all else she loved her friends, family and a life pursuing God. If she renovated, it was so her house could comfortably accommodate friends and family. If she shopped, it was for gifts and necessities for friends and family. She was always thinking about others, and how she could put others before herself to make their lives better. Through everything she did, it was clear that God was working through her and calling her. She delighted in church services, rejoiced in songs of praise, dedicated her time to scripture study, and was always filled with prayer and praise. A shining light of goodwill, compassion, steadfast love and forgiveness, she touched everyone she knew. Coworkers and employers may remember her for her intelligence, dedication, and dependability. Friends and family may remember her for her positive attitude, endless loyalty, and giving nature. But we all will never be able to forget her unconditional love and kindness shown to us through her tireless charitable actions and sacrifices. An example of Christ's love, a path she followed and a path she carved for all of us to follow, so as we may join her once again in heaven.
