Peggy Adams, 75 years, of Littleton, CO passed away peacefully Monday, November 28 with family by her side at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Peggy was happily married to Richard "Dick" Adams for 51 years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her four children; Rick wife Ricia, Mike fiancé Danielle, Tony wife Melissa and, Sherri; 7 grandchildren, Jack, Matt, Kyla, Lauren, Drew, Will and Keegan.

Peggy, born and raised in Butte, MT, was a proud wife, mom and Grammy. Peggy graduated from Butte Girls Central in 1959. Peggy's parents were Margaret (Corbitt) and George McManis and she had two brothers, Jim and George (both deceased). She was so proud of her mom having raised them almost solely by herself with her father's early passing when she was 4 and it is her she credits for her strong drive, will and independence. Peggy remained very close with her family in Montana and grew very strong bonds with her new family having married Dick on September 11, 1965. She would always say she was blessed to be able to stay home and raise her four children and be entrenched in all their activities. She and Dick moved across the country from Montana to California; California to Colorado; Colorado to Pennsylvania; and back to Colorado for their retirement years in 1999. She and Dick set such a strong home foundation of love, friendship and family values. Peggy was the consummate host always having her children's friends and family over for meals or just to hang out. She was the first to volunteer as a team parent or first to bring in a friend in need. She cherished the many times her children's friends would stop by just to say hi and talk to her. She formed bonds with each and every person she came in contact with and was loved by many. In her retirement years, she and Dick became full time grandparents attending so many of their 7 grandchildren's events. She cherished the sleepovers and time with them playing cards or games. From Hockey to Soccer, Basketball to Football, Volleyball to Lacrosse, she was there cheering them on. She loved their school events, band and loved the arts. She was a fanatic sports fan following local high schools; along with college and professional teams across the nation. She could not be outdone by anybody with her knowledge of the sports.

Peggy was very dedicated to her Catholic faith and in supporting their parishes. She was a long time religious education teacher, Eucharistic minister at her parishes as well as volunteering as a Eucharistic Minister at local hospitals and retirement communities. She served the St. Frances Cabrini Church in many capacities since returning in '99.

She so loved the Holidays and spending time with in her family, cooking, baking and visiting. While her Peripheral artery (vascular) disease took its toll on her physically through the years, she showed her true strength in fighting back and always remained strong mentally, emotionally and with her strong sense of humor. She is an Angel in heaven now and was an Angel to her family each and every day.

If you would like to make a donation in Peggy's name, the family is in support of the Ronal McDonald house of Denver.
