Michele Malmgren

Mickey Malmgren, 58, passed away in Denver on November 6, 2006. She was preceded in death by her father Francis Malmgren. Mickey is survived by her mother Roe Malmgren, brothers Ronald Malmgren and wife Rosann, Douglas Malmgren and wife Donna, nephews Michael Malmgren and Derek Malmgren, nieces Renee Ballerine, Lindsey Malmgren, Kristen Malmgren and great niece Grace Ballerine. Mickey was a thirty year resident of Colorado. She was a registered nurse with advanced degrees in Hospital Management. She served four years in the air force attending the rank of captain. Mickey nursed at Penrose Hospital in Colorado, Springs, Denver General Hospital and Lutheran Hospital of Denver. She loved whales and served as a Docent at Oceans Journey. She was an avid sports woman who enjoyed scuba diving, skiing, photography and traveling. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor, love of life and adventure. She was a kind and giving friend and family member who will remain in the hearts of those who knew her abd loved her. A memorial service will be held at Grace Covenant Church at 10101 W. Mississippi on Saturday November 11, 2006 at 11 AM. Donations may be made to the Susan G. Koman Foundation in her memory.
