On January 23, 1960, Mary married Raymond Sheda at Mother of God Catholic Church in Denver. Mary was an active member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church where she participated in Bible Study groups and Scripture Readings at daily Mass. Mary was a dog lover, an avid reader, gardener, walked Washington Park in rain or shine, and was proud of her Irish heritage. She was a pillar of the Washington Park Community and lived in the same home for over 50 years Mary contributed her time and money to many worthwhile charities. Mary enjoyed a close relationship with her niece, Maggie wall, always willing to babysit, pick her up from school, and participate in activities with her. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Sheda, her brother, Lawrence Wall, and her sister Marion Jean Howell and Laurena Lehman. Survivors include her brother John P. Wall of Iowa City, and many nephews, nieces, and great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 S.
