Mary Evanyo

Mary (Putzi) Evanyo passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Porter Hospice in Littleton, CO after living a full and blessed life. She was 83. Mrs. Evanyo was born in Gary, Indiana, the daughter of Andrew and Mary Putzi. After graduating from Tolleston High School in Gary, Indiana Mary studied dress design in Chicago. She married her husband John in 1954. Mary, with her family moved to Colorado in 1972 and had residency in Arvada, Lafayette and Littleton. Mary was a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church of Merrillville, Indiana then Holy Protection Byzantine Catholic Church of Denver, St Francis Cabrini Catholic Church. She loved gardening, sewing and caring for her family. Mary is preceded in death by her husband John Evanyo Jr. She is survived by her children Linda A. Buck and her husband Robert, Mary Beth Brondyke and her husband Timothy, Jeanne M. Richardson and her husband Donald, John A. Evanyo III and his wife Sandra, Richard L. Evanyo and his wife Anita. Laura J. Molnar and her husband Attilla, her sister Irene Arness, her grandchildren: Matthew Buck and his wife Kodee, Nicole Johnson and her husband Nick, Jonathan Brondyke, Jessica Higginbotham and her husband Daniel, Josiah Brondyke, Jennifer Brown and her husband William, Christine Nappo and husband Andy, Kristin Peterson and her husband Dan, Katie Evanyo, Jack Evanyo Andrew Evanyo and his wife Jennifer, Ryan Evanyo, Jacob Evanyo, Samantha Molnar, Hunter Molnar and her great-grandchildren Andrew, Dylan, Devin, Weston, Mason, Wyatt, and Tyson. A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22th from 4-7:00p.m., and rosary at 7:00p.m. at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home. Mass, February 23rd will be 10:30 a.m. with reception immediately following also at Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO Burial at 1:30p.m., at Fort Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Porter Hospice.
