Mary Crespin

Mary Crespin, born October 30, 1925, died peacefully on July 22, 2017. She was preceded in death by her great granddaughter Jessie Sailas and other family members. The mother of Bernadette Herrera (Denver) and John Herrera (Seattle, Washington), she was also a loving grandmother to Fred Sailas, Timothy Sailas, John Herrera, Michael Herrera, and Valeri Herrera. She also treasured her seven great grandchildren and twenty-seven great, great grandchildren. Mary was a loyal employee of ACE Cash Express for 36 years, and also enjoyed ballroom dancing and other social activities. After her retirement, she was an active volunteer for the Gathering Place and the VA Hospital. She loved to sew, and used her talents to provide items for these organizations. She also gifted family, friends and caregivers with beautiful things she sewed for them. We love you Mama. We’ll miss you and will always cherish your memory. Services to be held at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel (1091 South Colorado Boulevard, Denver, CO 80246) on Friday, July 28 - Rosary at 12:00pm and Memorial Mass at 1:00pm. A Reception is to follow from 3:00pm to 7:00pm in the Community Room at East Bay at Hidden Lake Senior Apartments where mom lived. (3720 West 68th Avenue, Westminster , CO 80030) Parking is only allowed on the street and you will have to enter from the lake side of the building on the west side.
