Lawrence Raffaeli

Lawrence Raffaeli, 84, died of natural causes, on March 30, 2017, at his residence in Lakewood CO. Larry is survived by his son Larz (Wendy), step children Jenene, Talli and Vaney, 10 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Larry is also survived by 3 sisters and 6 brothers. He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen, of 45 years, who died in March of 2011. Larry was born on May 7th of 1932, in Iliff, CO, to parents Michael Raffaeli and Mary Zier Raffaeli. Larry served in the Army branch of the military during the Korean war. He spent most of his working years as a maintenance worker for CDOT, but his true passion was being a farmer. Larry enjoyed baseball, fishing and camping. A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00, on April 10th, at Horan & McConaty, at 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, 80227. A reception will follow.
