November 26, 1941 — July 31, 2014

Lawrence Martinez, 72, Of Denver, said his farewell to his family, on Thursday July 31, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family, wife of 55 years Ramona and their three children Larry, (Michele) Laura, (Bernard) Leonard (Cynthia). His grandchildren Joelle (Jason) , Andre, Brandon, Dante and Adrianna and Great Grandchildren Mateo and Isabella. Lawrence is also survived by his sisters Francis(Cecil) and Priscilla and brother Ronnie, numerous nieces and nephews, and many extended family members, and friends. Lawrence, was a long time union advocate, a retired international Vice President for Graphic Communication International Union. He was a founding member of the Mile High Chapter of the American GI Forum. Lawrence loved being a husband, a father, a grandfather, a brother, a cousin, an uncle, and a friend. He loved to travel, play golf, and attend Bronco games with his family. The Denver Athletic Club became his second home where he shared many memories with staff and friends. Services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1820 Broadway, Denver, on August 10, 2014, at 2:00 PM.
