LaPriel Ash, 90, passed away on July 13, 2015. She was born on December 24, 1924 in Warner, Alberta, Canada and became a United States citizen in 1944. She was involved in many activities throughout her life and in particular, she loved playing duplicate bridge, traveling, reading, and taking long drives through the mountains. Mrs. Ash lived in Sun City West, Arizona for over 20 years before moving to the Denver area in 2007. She is survived by her daughter Charlene (Kerry) Conner and son W. Randy Barber and one granddaughter, Erin Conner. She is preceded in death by her parents, Etta and Engar Frandsen, her husband, James Ash, and her brother, Lee Frandsen and sister, Alice Trent. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 2 pm at Horan and McConaty (5303 E. County Line Road, Centennial, Colorado) with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any Veterans organization for which you have a personal concern or attachment.
