Kasie Lord

45, passed away tragically and unexpectedly January 18, 2017 in Rapid City, SD, formerly Denver, Co. Kasie Michelle Lord was born on April 26, 1971 in Riverside, CA to parents Thomas Bosteder and Laura Smith. As an adult she moved to Oregon and South Dakota until the age of 29 at which time she decided to move to Denver, CO with her children. She was a hard worker and worked diligently to provide for her children. She became a pharmacy technician and was proud of her job. At the time of her passing, Kasie worked as a pharmacy technician and a part-time clerk at the local Loaf 'n Jug in Rapid City, SD where she then resided. Kasie Lord was such a beautiful person inside and out. Kasie enjoyed shopping and spending her free time outdoors, and being with her family. Her kids and grandchildren were her whole life. Kasie's bright personality and compassionate attitude caused everyone around to be drawn to her and love her. Her two favorite things were Betty Boop and dolphins. Kasie was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, auntie, and friend. Her beautiful life will forever be treasured by three daughters, Tanaiya Dalton; Kaysha Morse; Allana Wideman (husband Gary); son, Michael Lord; grandchildren, Nevaeh Lord Dalton, Deshaun Lord Dalton, Marquis Rogers, Lyliaunna Wideman; mother, Laura Smith, step-father Steven Cobb; sister, Stephanie Garcia and brother Dustin Bosteder, and many friends who were family. She is preceded in death by her brother Daniel Gomez; her father Thomas Bosteder, and her beloved aunt Dee Smith. Kasie had such a spunky personality and never feared anything that came her way. Her smile and laugh would bring love and life everywhere she went. Her heart was bigger than big and everyone who knew her, knew nothing could change that. She will forever be missed, and never forgotten. With tears in our eyes it's come time to say goodbye. Services will be held at Horan & McConaty 11150 E Dartmouth Ave Aurora, Co 80014, Sunday, January 29 at 1:00 pm.
