Jewell McGinnis

Jewell McGinnis was born on October 14, 1914 in Marlow, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Homer Tedder and Vallie M. (Ellis) Tedder. Jewell moved to Colorado in 1935. Jewell married Cecil Ray McGinnis on September 11, 1935 in Grand Junction, Colorado. She is survived by her sons, Travis and his wife Barbara McGinnis, and David and his wife Brenda McGinnis; her daughter-in-law, Maryanne; many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Jewell was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil; and her son, Curtis Michael. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 10-11am followed by a Funeral Service at 11am, at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 12425 West 61st Avenue, Arvada, Colorado. Burial will follow at Golden Cemetery. Following the services there will be a reception back at the Hillcrest Baptist Church.
