James Metz

James ""Jim"" Metz, 76, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado passed away June 20, 2016. Jim was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. An only child to Richard and Thelma Metz. He worked for AT&T and retired after 30 years. Real estate followed. He leaves behind a wife, Joanna; a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Amy Metz; a daughter and son-in law, Kelli Metz and Jody McGuire; six grandchildren, Matthew McGuire, Mikaila Metz, Kanin McGuire, Holland McGuire, Zackary Metz, and Jarrett McGuire. He will be missed at the cabin and poker table. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made in Jim's name to Donor Alliance, 720 South Colorado Boulevard Suite 800-N, Denver, Colorado 80246 or Environmental Learning for Kids, 14460 East 50th Avenue, Denver CO 80239.
