He Married Edith Klaboe of Great Falls prior to being drafted into the Army. He was sent to serve in the Korean War in communications and mustered out as a Corporal. George attended electronics school on the GI Bill and worked briefly for Honeywell and for many years for Tektronix as a field engineer. He also gardened and could repair almost anything. He loved animals and nearly always had a dog. George is survived by son Kent and his wife Laura and their son Zach. By Katherine (Kat) Lodge and her partner Terry Glidden. By sisters in law Rose and Cleora Lodge. Many nieces and nephews and friends. Also by a black and white tuxedo cat he insisted on calling Kitty (everyone else calls her Sly) and by Gunner the family 'Pound hound' who is surely missing the under the table treats naughty George would slip him! George was preceded in death by his parents James and Louise Lodge. Brothers Bob and Jim Lodge. Ex wife Edith Klaboe Lodge.
