Frederick Timothy Klein (known to all as Tim), of Littleton, CO, passed away on January 30, 2015. He was married to his college sweetheart, MaryKay, for fifty years. They enjoyed life in Colorado with their two daughters, sons-in-law, and three grandchildren. Their years together were filled with travel, tennis, and golf (they especially enjoyed miniature golf with the grandkids). In his younger days, Tim attended University of Colorado Boulder and played football there. Shortly thereafter, he entered into the Army, working for the United States Army Signal Research Activity Unit, for which he received recognition from the United States Air Force. After discharge from the army, he joined ranks in the field of sales, working for McDonell Douglas and Analysts International Corporation, among others. It was during these years that he amassed several awards, such as the Marquis Who's Who in Finance and Industry 1989/1990. From there, he transitioned to the real estate market as a broker, which suited his attention to detail and strong work ethic. As devoted as he was to business, he was just as devoted to his family. Tim was considered by all who knew him to be a man of his word -- and those words were always carefully chosen and spoken in a gentle drawl that garnered listeners. He conducted a genuine, authentic life both personally and professionally. Posessing both the qualities of a quick-wit and a calm demeanor, Tim had the gift of putting everyone at ease. He made friends wherever he went, and those friends were made to feel like family. Tim waged a short, but brave battle with cancer. Even toward the end, Tim's nurses and doctors remarked how his sense of humor had remained intact. He will be loved, missed, and remembered always. Donations can be made out to Porter Hospice at the Johnson Center.
