Frank Bumgarner

Our cherished son, brother and friend, passed away on Thursday, July 6th, 2017. Frank was an avid outdoors man, hunter and fisherman. He graduated from University of Colorado School of Engineering and later obtained his Professional Engineers license. Frank was a Colorado Native but he loved to travel the United States and every spring he looked forward to tomato growing season. He was Vice President for Structural Consultants, Inc until recently opening his own engineering consulting business FEB3 Structural Engineering, LLC. His work involved him in countless projects throughout the state of CO and beyond. Frank is preceded in death by his father Frank Bumgarner, Sister Barbara Villiotti and brother-in-law Larry Dunn. Frank is survived by his mother Rita Bumgarner. Sisters Patricia Dunn and Marilyn Bumgarner and her husband Scott Kaltenborn; Niece Stephanie Petrikat and husband Sebastian Petrikat; brother-in-law Ron Villiotti and Lifelong friends Tim and Cindy Axley. A visitation and Rosary will be held in Frank's honor at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd, on Thursday, 7/13/2017. The visitation will be from 6 PM to 7 PM with the Rosary beginning at 7. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 2771 Zenobia St, at 10 am on Friday, 7/14/2017. In lieu of flowers, the family would be honored if you would make a donation in his name to the Colorado Wildlife Federation 1410 Grant St. Suite C-313, Denver, CO 80203 A good man left us too soon. He will be deeply missed.
