Clifford Crowe

November 22, 1924 — May 22, 2016

Clifford Crowe passed away peacefully on May 22, 2016 at the age of 91. He was born in Denver, Colorado in 1924 and grew up in Wheatridge, Colorado. At the young age of 18, he was drafted into the Army and fought bravely in World War II for three years. He fought in the famous ""Battle of the Bulge"" and miraculously survived, when so many lost their lives. After returning from the Army, he attended the University of Colorado and graduated with a Chemical Engineering degree. He married in 1951 and had four daughters. He worked in the Oil & Gas industry for over 30 years as an Engineer. In his spare time he loved to garden, enjoyed photography and taking his daughters camping, and most of all he loved to travel with his wife and children. Married for 64 years, he was a loving and devoted husband and father. We all loved him very much and will miss him dearly. Clifford is survived by his beloved wife Anna; his four daughters, Karen Harris, Janet Covelli, Joan Crowe, and Barbara Crowe; his Son-in-Laws, Stephen Harris and Ryan Covelli; his four treasured grandchildren, Curtis, Alan, Kayla, and Owen; and three great grandchildren, Cody, Blake, and Austin. A memorial service for Clifford will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 11:00 in the morning, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial, Colorado 80122. The reception will follow the services, starting at 12:00 in the afternoon. A grave side service will follow at 2:00 in the afternoon at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 West Kenyon Ave, Denver, Colorado.
