Carol Boyle

Carol Boyle, 84, Windcrest, died peacefully in her sleep on October 15, 2017 surrounded by family. Carol was born 5/23/1933 in Allentown, PA to A. Carl and Anna (Sears) Andelfinger. Married Hugh E. Boyle on 12/31/1955. Carol was a free spirited youth, a loving parent, and a laughing grandparent. She worked for over 30 years at the Denver Presbyterian Hospital continuing well past normal retirement to fund her travels. After moving to Denver in 1972, she coached the Blessed Sacrament girls’ basketball team to 12 winning seasons, winning the league title 10 times. She loved working with the girls and would have continued on if not for life’s curveballs. She finally retired to the Windcrest retirement community where she made many friends, continued traveling, and rekindled her love of swimming and painting. Daily you would find Carol swimming laps at 5 A.M. in the Windcrest pool. Her children and grandchildren cherish birthday cards featuring Carol’s original watercolors. All who knew her will miss her “the glass is overflowing” view of life. She saw only beauty in everyone and everything. Preceded in death by Carl and Anna Andelfinger, Jean Canavan (sister) and Hugh E. Boyle (husband), survived by children Brian (Diana), Patty, Kevin (Ellen), Hugh C. (Mary) and Phil (Maya) Boyle along with many grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held November 4, 2017 at 11:30am at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial 80112.
