January 1, 1925 — January 17, 2018

Ann Higday Born January 1, 1925 - Passed January 17, 2018 It is with deep sadness that the family of Ann Higday announces her passing at the age of 93 years. A Denver native, Ann established deep connections within her community. Her boundless energy, zest for life, and unyielding capacity for kindness and compassion toward others inspired those who knew her. Her love of family and friends hold countless treasured memories as do the legendary holiday feasts that she relished hosting every year. As many will recall, she loved to shop and traveled the world with her husband Jim who never missed an opportunity to explore new places. She will also be remembered for her passion and commitment to her faith in God and her church. The foundational cornerstone in her life, her faith guided her in good times and comforted her in tough times. Working in the front office of Light of the World Roman Catholic Church, she made numerous friends and touched the lives of many in her community. A devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother, her legacy lives on in each of them along with many friends she held in the community. She was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed. A celebration of Ann’s life will be held on January 30, 2018 at Light of the World Roman Catholic Church in Littleton, Colorado at 10:00AM. A reception will immediately follow Mass with internment at Ft. Logan National Cemetery at 1:00PM Staging Area ""B"". In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Catholic Archdiocese of Denver or the Alzheimer’s Association.
