Built in 1919, this building's interior and exterior recently underwent an extensive remodeling and renovation. We retained the classic feel of the building with carpeting, wall and ceiling treatments, tapestries, and artworks while we made some dramatic changes such as the addition of an elevator from street level to any of the building levels, a new front entrance, large comfortable conference-style offices for meeting with families, new restrooms, exterior flower boxes, and air conditioning.

James McConaty, the man who people in the neighborhood called "Gentleman Jim," founded his original facility at this location. Today, if he were alive, we think Mr. McConaty would be proud to see his original dream returned, to become once-again, the pride of Denver's historic Highland Neighborhood. Our chapel is capable of seating 225 and, for those who wish, a small adjacent chapel can accommodate 110. A complimentary coffee and tea service (including a variety of no-caffeine and herbal teas) is available at all times.
